Warranty policy that will satisfy even the pickiest customers from SMG.

Warranty Policy

1) Zippo original windproof lighters have lifetime warranty.
– Shipping cost will be taken care by consumers and return will be taken care by SMG.
– Insert is replaceable parts thus can be changed during the repair process.
– In the case of hinge repair, traceable heat treament can be left on the case.
– In the case of limited edition items, repair can be limited and must be discussed with SMG prior to the processing. (In the case of shipping to US for repair, the process can take up to 8 weeks.)

2) Depends on the product category, warranty period can be differ from each other.

Warranty Period: 3 years from purchase
– External damages (changes in metal color, scratches, and dents) as well as all replaceable parts are not part of warranty.
– Depends on the case, repair or replacement products will be sent out

– Warranty Period: 2 years from purchase
– Warranty parts: Metal strap and watch movement

3) All replaceable parts are outside of warranty scope.
– Unless the products are damaged prior to or during the shipment

4) All problems caused prior to or during the shipment will be examined. After that, either refund or replacement will be sent out.
